I love creating metal sculptures. For years I have been professionally welding and working with metal but most of the work done in those jobs is boring. Over the years my fascination with metal working grew as well as my lust for tools and knowledge. As I amassed more tools and learned more techniques I began making random sculptures for fun. This eventually became an obsession and now I often find myself making custom metal sculptures for clients around Southern California. I fabricate everything myself and I outsource the casting. When I make steel sculptures I weld, grind, twist, bend, heat, and hammer it into shape. Then I use welding build up to create texture. I believe this adds a little life to my work and can often create some tension.
